Completed in November 2004, these four courtyard benches are entitled "Wind," "Sun," "Earth," and "Water."

The benches are graced with handmade clay tile, rock and glass mosaic pieces. The themes are presented in the trademark colors of IKEA, blue and yellow.
Niki Glen was selected from four artists commissioned for proposals by IKEA and the Store's management team.
Designed and created by Niki Glen, Kasha Banko and Helen Helwig, this project was made possible by the City of Tempe's Art in Private Development program.
